I discovered Zen Bistro years ago during a weekend getaway to Daytona Beach, and it has remained one of my favorite Thai restaurants ever since. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and perfect for a date night or getting together with friends. The cocktails are outstanding—my favorite is the **Zen Old Fashioned**. I also love that you can customize the spice level of your meal, so whether you prefer mild or extra spicy, they have you covered. If you're a fan of authentic Thai cuisine, Zen Bistro will not disappoint. Every visit has been consistently delicious with excellent service. The only downside is that parking can be a bit challenging during peak hours, but it's well worth the effort. Highly recommend if you're in the Daytona Beach area and looking for amazing Thai food and a great dining experience!

I've tried and tried again, but still...unless I order a curry dish, the food lacks flavor. It's like a wimpy Americanized version of Thai food prepared without pride in the finished taste. The thom kha coconut milk was globby...not creamy and lacked flavor. The chicken basil was short on basil and thus flavor. The larb gai was pathetic. Larb gai should be a freight train of flavor, but tasted like lettuce with chicken and onions on it. I had high hopes that this was going to be my go-to Thai place in Daytona, but after two tries I'll keep searching. At least the red curry was pretty good even if they put peas in it. Who does that? And the prices are steep for Americanized Thai food...or maybe that's it--too Americanized in that aspect, too.

The massaman curry was very good, my wife had the chicken I had tofu. The summer rolls were disappointing - tofu rice noodles, basil and a small amount of romaine lettuce no cucumber or other veggies. They were served with peanut sauce. They've done a great job on the outside but the interior is a little sparse.

Incredible, Incredible, Incredible! I enjoyed everything as I got the Masaman Curry and my friend got the Wai Wai Noodles and we shared a quaint bowl of cucumber salad and Fresh Rolls as an appetizer! It was very tasty :) also, the service was very very very amazing as we had a waiter named Olive and she was very sweet, hard-working, and super friendly! I hope she is super valued as she definitely made the environment and experience relaxing and very enjoying after a long week!
